FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Answers for city leaders, campus security teams, venue operators, and partners evaluating EchoShield AI.

What does EchoShield AI detect?

EchoShield is designed to detect and classify gunshots, explosions, crashes, glass breaks, and crowd panic events, using acoustic patterns and additional sensor signals where available.

Is this a replacement for cameras or 911?

No. EchoShield is a live intelligence layer that complements existing tools. It helps your teams see and understand events faster so 911 and existing systems can work more effectively.

How does EchoShield handle privacy?

EchoShield is built as privacy-first. We avoid storing raw voice content, encrypt all event packets in transit and at rest, and design the system to focus on events and patterns—not personal identities.

How long does a pilot deployment take?

Typical pilots can start in 60–90 days, depending on coverage, integrations, and stakeholder approvals.

Who uses the dashboards?

Public safety command staff, campus security leadership, venue operations, and authorized analysts typically use the dashboards. Residents and students interact primarily through the mobile app and public alerts.
